National Mixed
Fours Competition 2010
The Surrey Area Four of this National competition
has now been completed and the overall winners were
:- Debbie Souter (Southey), Caroline Duarte
(Southey), Dave Clark (Weybridge) and Dennis
Hennessy (Southey). Many congratulations to this
mixed rink who now progress to the Finals to be
played at Beach House Park, Worthing over the
weekend of Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 August. The
draw has not yet been made but will be published
here in due course.

The following counties qualified for the National
Semi-Finals to be held at Worthing in August :-

Mens National 'County Top Two
Fours' for the Balcomb Trophy
Surrey qualified for the
Regional Finals of the above competition by an
overwhelming victory over Hampshire at Atherley BC.
The following results played at Winchmore Hill BC in
the Regional Final on Sunday 27 June 2010 were :-
Semi-Finals :-
Surrey 40, Buckinghamshire 34 and Kent 21 Royal
County of Berkshire 42.
Final :-
Surrey 11, Royal County of Berkshire 42.
Berkshire therefore qualified for the National
Semi-Finals at Worthing in August. |
