Some visitors might experience difficulties
seeing the Java navigation menu at the top of each page if
they are using the Internet Explorer 8 browser. If so it is
likely you are also not seeing other Java objects in many
other sites.
Follow the following instructions to rectify
the problem:
1.
Open Internet Explorer 8 and go
to
www.surreycountybowls.co.uk
2. Towards the top and right of the screen
you will see the “Tools” menu
3. Click it and from the dropdown, click
“Compatibility View”
This should do it.
If this occurs with a number of other sites
too or if you want to make sure you see things OK in the
future for all sites. To do this:
- Open Internet Explorer 8
- Towards the top and right of the screen
you will see the “Tools” menu
- Click it and from the dropdown, click
“Compatibility View Settings”
When the window opens, check the box at the bottom marked
“View All Websites In Compatibility View”
- Close the Window
In some cases this can be because Java is
not enabled on your computer. If this is the case you will
need to download the file from
www.java.com and ensure it is enabled for your browser. |
